Impact the Palm Beaches hosted the 5th Annual Impact Awards Celebration on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. at Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach. During this special event, Impact the Palm Beaches awarded high impact grants to nonprofit organizations in Palm Beach County. The 2019 Impact Grant Presentation is an exciting evening during which three finalists present their request for funding to the members, a vote is taken, and the awards are distributed. The Center for Trauma Counseling received the $100,000 Impact Grant and the semi-finalists, The Lord’s Place and Habitat for Humanity received a Merit Grant.

Impact the Palm Beaches is a philanthropic organization where women collectively give to nonprofits in Central and Northern Palm Beach County to ignite transformational change in their local community. Impact grants fund the following areas: Arts & Culture, Education, Environment, Family and Health, and Wellness. Impact members each contribute $1,000 annually and award at least one $100,000 Impact grant to a local nonprofit organization. Since 2015, Impact the Palm Beaches has awarded $511,000 in grants. Impact the Palm Beaches is a charitable fund of the Town of Palm Beach United Way.
